Blessed with rolling fields, rugged mountains, and miles of undeveloped Pacific beach, Cocle offers a wonder for the senses. With a plethora of accommodations, that vary wildly from affordable backpacker/surf spots to luxurious high end hotels, you can easily get lost in the myriad of options in this tiny but stunning province.

We’ve started by offering the best options for Cocle’s most popular getaway, El Valle de Anton. We’re doing our best to only feature the best, but as with all accommodations, travellers preferences and experiences vary. Always do your research before choosing the destination that is right for you and feel free to contact us to ask about any property whether its featured here or not. We never charge a fee for our services and you get honest opinions. Also send us your reviews so we can pass along the info to other travellers.

CRATER VALLEY POOL HOTELCrater Valley Adventure Spa is located on a beautiful swath of land on the road to El Valle. With on-site adventure centre, gardens, circular pool, spa, restaurant, bar, and walking trails, this hotel feels more like a ‘resort-lite’. The rooms are nice, the beds comfy, the linens and towels are high quality but not all rooms are equal so ask what’s available if you’re not happy. The design in and around the pool is gorgeous, the lounge chairs and hammocks are enticing and the spa located right off the pool is a nice touch. The only down-side to Crater Valley is that the buffet-style breakfast is about the only thing that’s complimentary so expect to pay something for everything. Rates vary between $80-$140/night based on room and time of year.
