We had an absolutely awesome trip from Cartagena to Panama. Captain Michel’s boat is by far the best boat on this itinerary; lots of bathrooms, lots of lounging space, and great food. This big boat is also much faster than the others, which means more time in the San Blas area and less time on the open ocean. Highly recommend!Muchas gracias otra vez Michel! Saludos, Erik (Holland)

Travelled for 5 days last October I think it was there first trip of that kind with so many on board and I could not fault anything, they were so professional, they waited on us hand and foot and really made sure we got the most that we could from the trip, from snorkelling to catching fresh lobster and having the cooked for us. The islands are amazingly beautiful and the trip is worth every penny. Thanks for such a memorable trip! Yvonne x

Good strong safe boat… fun crew….. fabulous food… competent experienced captain…. cannot recommend this boat and this trip enough. btw. for bikers, this boat is ideal as the deck very high and your bike wont get drenched with salt water.dont settle for anything less on this journey of a lifetime

I spent a few days in Cartagena looking for a decent boat to take me to Panama, and finally settled on this one after meeting Michel. He was honest and upfront from the start, let me see the boat and delivered on all his promises. The crossing was rough, but the food was top notch and the staff were highly professional. Michel doesn’t overfill the boat, and we all had plenty of sleeping space, food and water for showers! No boat is particularly comfortable, but this must be one of the better options!

Cuidense! Saludos Sven

Good times onboard! I used Independence to take myself and my motorbike from Panama to Colombia and despite mixed weather it was a nice experience. The boat was tall enough to keep my motorbike spray free as well :-)….I was very nervous for my baby (a BMW F800GS) but all was okay in the end. Enjoy your adventure on this boat.

We heard of this boat in a Cartagena hostel- it turned out to be a great experience- and is the best value and best resourced boat. There are warm showers, flushable toilets, a bed in a cabin for everybody, great great food, space on deck to hang out. The Captain is great, very entertaining and does his best to make the journey enjoyable and allow plenty of time to hang out at SanBlas islands. The crew were fantastic and really helpful, especially Majo who makes great food and is very helpful!Go for this one
